The Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Florida College of Medicine has an immediate opening for an academically oriented Medical Physicist at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, Jacksonville, FL. The UFHPTI is an academic, nonprofit, radiation oncology center located in downtown Jacksonville. Since opening in 2006, the UFHPTI has delivered proton therapy to over 9,000 patients from Florida, the U.S., and 33 countries, including over 1,800 pediatric patients. As part of the University of Florida Health Cancer Center, UFHPTI is designated by the State of Florida as a Florida Cancer Center of Excellence.
