MultiCare Deaconess Hospital Radiation Oncology is seeking a full-time Therapeutic Medical Physicist to join our team which operates through the hospital Cancer Center in downtown Spokane, Washington. The successful candidate will be actively working alongside Two Board Certified Radiation Oncologists, One Board Certified Medical Physicist, Two Certified Medical Dosimetrists and Five Registered Radiation Therapists. This clinic averages 30 patients per day on one Varian TrueBeam Linear accelerator treating a wide variety of cases. Treatment techniques include External Beam only with 3D conformal, electron, IMRT/VMAT, SBRT, and cranial SRS (Hyperarc module). The program is expanding and plans to install an additional Linac in the coming year(s).

• Eclipse TPS 15.6 (upgrade coming soon)
• Aria Patient Management system with EPIC integration
• Varian Truebeam with 6DoF couch, Portal Dosimetry, GE Lightspeed CT simulator
• IGRT using OBI/CBCT
• MiM Software Suit 
• Radformation (ClearCheck, ClearCalc, EZfluence, AutoContour)
• Sun nuclear DailyQA3, MapCheck, IC Profiler 
• Standard Imaging phantoms, CATPhan 604
• Total QA Quality Assurance software
• PTW Ion Chambers and Romero Electrometer 

The successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Medical Physics from CAMPEP accredited program
• ABR Board Certification (or equivalent) or Board Eligibility (completion of 2-year CAMPEP accredited residency program)
• Experience with SBRT and SRS treatment techniques
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Strong Oral and written communication skills
