TheNortheast Louisiana Cancer Institute (NLCI) is seeking a full-time, Board Certified Medical Physicist to join our team which oversees two busy Radiation Oncology centers located in Monroe and West Monroe, Louisiana. The successful candidate will be actively working alongside two Board Certified Radiation Oncologists, two Board Certified Medical Physicists, three Certified Medical Dosimetrists and ten Registered Radiation Therapists. This position is led by the Director of Medical Physics.
The NLCI is a Novalis Certified Radiosurgery Center andprovides a full range of radiation therapy procedures, including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, IGRT, Partial Breast Irradiation, Respiratory Gated Radiotherapy, HDR Brachytherapy, and Radionuclide Treatment. Equipment in use at the Cancer Institute includes a Varian Truebeam STX with image guidance and BrainLab Exactrac capabilities; Varian Trilogy with image guidance; Varian IX with image guidance; Varian Bravos HDR unit; and GE wide bore CT Simulator. Treatment planning systems include Varian Eclipse, Velocity, BrainLab Elements and I-Plan. The electronic medical record system is ARIA.
