SUMMARY: The Physicist oversees the radiation therapy equipment and acceptance. The Physicist consults with the Radiation Oncologist concerning patient dose, along with radiation exposure and safety. The Physicist oversees the radiation quality assurance programs and development. The general work hours are M-F, Days.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Graduate degree in medical physics, or related field, required.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
Certification as a Qualified Medical Physicist by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) required.
