Position Summary: The Thompson Cancer Survival Center (TCSC) is looking for an outstanding medical physicist to join the radiation oncology team at Covenant Health, which is the largest nonprofit provider of radiation therapy services in the state of Tennessee. This opening is for a staff medical physics position at the Thompson Proton Center (TPC). Primary clinical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, complex proton pencil beam scanning treatment plan optimization, treatment planning consults and evaluation, patient immobilization evaluation and implementation, respiration motion management, weekly patient chart checks, and machine quality assurance.
