Proton Clinical Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking qualified applicants for Staff Clinical Medical Physicists in the Division of Medical Physics, Department of Radiation Oncology, to support our growing practice. This is a clinical staff position. There are no research expectations. Prior proton experience is not necessary. Non-boarded candidates will be given opportunity to work in the Photon clinic in preparation for the oral board exam. The primary responsibilities of our Medical Physics clinical staff are to ensure that patients receive the prescribed dose of radiation to the correct location safely and effectively, to implement new technologies and procedures and to manage and participate in a robust quality program.
