John Stoddard Cancer Center is seeking an experienced physicist to join our team of 5 radiation oncologists, 3 physicists, and 5 dosimetrists. We are looking for up to two more physicists to join our team! Interested in a physicist that wants to be involved in a center that is progressive and performs a variety of treatments. Open to various work hours and schedules (including hybrid) based on experience and training.
John Stoddard Cancer Center is an all-Varian site with a Halcyon, TrueBeam STx, and a TrueBeam treating about 90 patients a day. The center treats a lot of SRS, SRT, and SBRT patients. It is also a Center of Excellence for VisionRT. We have AlignRT on all three linacs (including InBore on our Halcyon) and GateCT on one of our two GE CT simulators.
We have a high HDR brachytherapy patient volume. Treat mostly prostate and GYN with some interstitial treatments, lung, and breast using a Varian Bravos HDR. HDR experience a plus but is not necessary. We can train you!
Applications used daily include Eclipse, ARIA, SunCHECK, SNC Patient (ArcCheck and SRS MapCheck), and several Radformation products (ClearCheck, ClearCalc, AutoContour, EZFluence, RadMachine, ChartCheck). We also have an IC Profiler and 3D Sun Nuclear water tank used for annual QA.
