The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences in the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) has an opening for a full-time Diagnostic Medical Physicist. The successful candidate will join a group of four medical physicists as an integral member of the MUSC team, and will travel to outlying sites and work independently to provide clinical medical physics services. While a board certification in Diagnostic Medical Physics by the ABR is highly desired, board-eligible candidates may be considered, depending on their experience and background. Candidates with a PhD and an appropriate background will be considered for a faculty appointment in the Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences.
