About Oklahoma Proton Center (OPC): OPC, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Physicist. Specializing in proton therapy with a four-room IBA ProteusPLUS system, OPC has expanded to provide conventional external radiation therapy at two satellite facilities within the Oklahoma Cancer Center (OCC) network utilizing Varian, and TomoTherapy Linacs. RayStation is used for both proton and photon treatment planning. OPC also offers LDR prostate brachytherapy and radionuclide therapy modalities.
Join Our Team: We seek a Medical Physicist to join our team of 4 physicists, 4 dosimetrists, and 1 medical physicist assistant. Candidates should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and thrive in collaborative environments. Board-eligible recent graduates or residents are welcome to apply.
Role and Responsibilities:
Report to the Director of Medical Physics and Dosimetry.
Handle general medical physics duties in a radiotherapy clinic, including treatment plan check, patient positioning, and radiation protection etc.
Collaborate in quality assurance, equipment testing, and commissioning.
Engage in training, teaching, and R&D projects.

Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Medical Physics or related field.
2+ years of clinical experience or completed a CAMPEP-certified residency.
Proton therapy experience preferred.
Strong communication skills and experience in a clinical setting.
Familiarity with Mosaiq EMR and Raystation planning system advantageous.
