SUMMARY: The Physicist oversees the radiation therapy equipment and acceptance. The Physicist consults with the Radiation Oncologist, Dosimetrists & Physicists concerning patient dose, along with radiation exposure and safety. The Physicist oversees the radiation quality assurance programs and development. The general work hours are M-F, days with occasional evenings, weekends and holidays (as needed). Please Note: This position may require occasional travel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Graduate degree in Medical Physics required.
Graduation from or eligibility to graduate from a CAMPEP program preferred.
Successful completion of part one of ABR certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics or minimum ten years of experience as a practicing medical physicist required.
