The Department of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School is searching for a new Chief of Diagnostic Medical Physics.  The Chief will oversee a team of medical physicists and will provide support for the clinical Diagnostic Medical Physics services at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, specifically for clinical programs in radiography, fluoroscopy, interventional imaging, mammography and CT. They will direct the Radiology Physics Course curriculum for Radiology Residents and organize physics education for trainees and postgraduate physicians.  They will also provide physics support to members of Radiology in their research programs as well as manage their own investigator-initiated projects.

A PhD in Medical Physics (or in an equivalent field) and Certification in Diagnostic Medical Physics or Radiological Physics from the American Board of Radiology or recognized equivalent body is required.  Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at the Assistant or Associate Professor level would be commensurate with experience.
