A Medical Physicist at Shannon health is responsible for physics department staff, compliance, and quality assurance.  Also serves as Radiation Safety Officer for Radiation Oncology Department. 3 years of Therapeutic Medical Physicist experience is preferred but is not required. We do require you have received your High School Diploma, a Bachelors in a related field, a Masters degree in Medical Physics, be certified with the American Board of Radiology, Therapeutic Medical Physics and have your Medical Physics license through the Texas Medical Board. We accept candidates with their Doctorate in Medical Physics, but it is not required.
