The Physics section of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a qualified clinical physicist to fill a faculty (Assistant Professor) or staff position. It is expected that this position will provide support at our main campus although some support at a regional practice is also desired. Our team currently consists of 12 physicists, a physics resident and 6 graduate students. There is also dedicated IT and in-house engineering support. The Physics section is responsible for 8 linear accelerators across the main campus and 3 regional practices, a busy Gamma Knife center, a dedicated brachytherapy suite, wide-bore CT, PET/CT and 3T MRI scanners all located and staffed within the department.
