The University of New Mexico is looking to fill a Medical Physicist position in Radiation Oncology. This position will be with the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center in Albuquerque, NM, the only New Mexico academic healthcare facility dedicated to both cancer research and patient care. We are one of just 51 cancer centers in the United States to achieve Comprehensive designation by the NCI. We are seeking motivated medical physicist to be part of a medical physics team consisting of four medical physicists and five medical dosimetrists led by a Director of Medical Physics.   The Cancer Center currently has two Elekta linear accelerators and a Tomotherapy unit, but will be expanding to four linear accelerators and an MR linac in the next few years.
