Radiation Oncology Physics Residency
Program Description: This CAMPEP accredited Radiotherapy Physics Residency is a joint partnership of Genesis Healthcare Partners, San Diego State University (SDSU), Sharp Grossmont Hospital, Sharp Memorial Hospital, and the Naval Medical Center. Our program focuses on clinical radiotherapy physics training with the intention of preparing our residents for ABR certification and a career as a Radiation Oncology Physicist. It is a two-year tuition-based training program that does not offer monetary compensation. During the two years, the residents are required to enroll in four clinical rotation courses (each of a six-month duration) through SDSU, and rotate through the partner clinics.
