We are currently seeking a Director of Physics to join our Radiation Oncology Department. As our Director of Physics, you will build a Center of Excellence in Medical Physics for External Beam Radiation Therapy (including IMRT and VMAT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (including Gamma Knife), Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy, and Brachytherapy so that we may provide our patients with the highest quality radiation therapy treatments possible. This employee will be cognizant of the philosophy, standards and objectives of the department and the hospital center.
We require:
Doctoral or Master Degree in Medical Physics
Excellent interpersonal skills, Speaks, reads and writes English
Knowledge of Medical Physics, Mathematics, Anatomy and Computer Sciences.
Minimum three years progressively responsible related work experience to ensure familiarity with clinical physics, treatment.
Certified by the American Board of Medical Physics or American Board of Radiology preferred
