Assistant Professor -therapeutic medical physicist
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina is recruiting for a faculty position with academic ranking for a motivated radiation oncology physicist. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in all facets of our radiation oncology physics program, including clinical support, QA, research, teaching and periodic support of our satellite sites. Candidates should be certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or working toward certification. Candidates currently enrolled in CAMPEP accredited medical physics residency programs (graduating summer 2023) will be considered. Experience with Varian TrueBeam accelerators, Eclipse treatment planning, Elekta HDR, Gamma Knife, and Accuray RadiXact is desirable. An M.S. or Ph.D. degr
