The physicist works with the Radiation Oncologist, Dosimetrist, Radiotherapy Technologist and others to assure the accurate delivery of all aspects of a treatment prescription.  He/she is directly involved in patient care whereby his/her decisions in the treatment of the patients contribute to optimal safe and effective patient care.  Responsible for calibration of machines, office radiation safety, quality assurance of diagnostic and therapy equipment and accessories.  Supervisor of dosimetrists. This position offers the ability to work out of Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington 60% of the week, while commuting to Saint Joseph London 40% of the week.
