Therapeutic Medical Physics Residency (3-Year)
The University of Kansas Medical Center has CAMPEP Accredited Therapeutic Medical Physics Residency openings with a start date between 11/1/2022 and 5/31/2023. The newly created positions involve 1+ year of NIH or KUMC funded research until 6/30/2024, followed by two years of clinical training in radiation oncology physics. The goal of the research year during a 3-year residency is to provide the graduates a strong foundation for an academic medical physics career. The successful candidates must have a Ph.D. in physics, engineering, computer science, or in a related discipline and satisfy the CAMPEP coursework requirements for a residency.
