Senior Scientist Research Director, PhD
The Department of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is seeking a Senior Scientist Research Director for the newly formed Center for Advanced CT Translation and Innovation (CACTI), which focuses on technology assessment, innovation, and clinical translation of advanced CT systems including dual-energy CT (DECT) and photon-counting CT (PCCT). CACTI collaborates with an industry partner and has access to state-of-the-art CT systems and software tools. We are seeking applicants with proven CT physics backgrounds (PhD in medical physics, imaging sciences, radiology, or bioengineering). A PhD in photon-counting detector physics, imaging technique optimization (image processing and algorithm development), and/or preclinical/clinical evaluation of PCCT is ideal. The candida
