Where you fit in
The Medical Therapy Physicist provides therapeutic radiological physics services to the Oncology Service Line in accordance with the highest standards of practice and as required by regulatory agencies. The Community Health Network has robust brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiotherapy programs.  All sites employ Varian True Beam accelerators with ARIA/ECLIPSE record/verify and treatment planning systems.   You will join a highly experienced Radiation Therapy team of 8 physicists, 8 physicians and 8 dosimetrists, network wide.

Your exceptional skills

• Calibration and commissioning of linear accelerators and other radiation sources
• Clinical dosimetry of external beam and implant sources
• Clinical physics administration
• Patient set up and computer treatment planning proficiency
• Quality assurance of equipment and treatment plans

Your exceptional qualifications

Experience:
Consistent with American Board of Radiology Board eligibility  (Required)

Education:
Master's Degree : Master of Science in Medical Physics or related discipline required. (Required)

Certifications:

• American Board of Radiology, Therapeutic Radiological Physics certification (Preferred)
• American Board of Radiology, Therapeutic Radiological Physics Board eligibility(Required, if not certified)
• Indiana Department of Health (IDOH), approved Therapy Physicist (Required, may be obtained post employment)
