Indiana based SINK Cancer, LLC. Is looking for a full time Physicist to join their regional team of 6 other Physicists  and 4 Dosimetrists.  Our organization values strong teamwork, good communication, and fosters a supportive work environment.  The position to be filled is for the Columbus, Indiana location, where there will be 2.5 Physics FTEs in total.  There are 2 Varian TrueBeam accelerators with Motion Management (one with VisionRT, one with Varian RPM), and one Elekta MicroSelectron HDR unit with Oncentra Brachy Planning software.  The Radiation Oncology Department utilizes Varian’s Eclipse Treatment Planning platform along with ARIA Record and Verify.  Other software utilized includes MIM, and SunNuclear’s SNC Machine for imaging QA.  We utilize SNC ArcCheck and Portal Dosimetry QA as our main patient-specific QA tools, along with FilmQA Pro software and an assortment of QA phantoms.  Special treatments include cone-based and MLC-based SRS, SBRT, and HDR.  The Physicist’s responsibilities would include machine QA, new plan checks, weekly chart checks, troubleshooting clinical issues as well as contributing to the development of new technologies within the clinic. HDR experience preferred, candidate must be at least ABR Certification eligible, or already Board Certified.  Competitive salaries and benefits are offered and are commensurate with the candidate’s experience level.
