Job SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Chief of Clinical Physics and the Vice Chair of Physics, the Hospital Rad Physicist will demonstrate a high level of autonomy to perform physics-related tasks required to obtain and maintain ACR accreditation, following AAPM Task Group guidelines. This will include commissioning of new equipment, calibration radiation producing machines and dosimetry equipment, performing machine and patient-specific quality assurance, performing external beam and treatment planning tasks, designing and implementing special procedures as needed.The Hospital Rad Physicist will be directly responsible for the supervision and calibration of linear accelerators, other physics issues related t
