About New York Proton Center
The New York Proton Center (NYPC) provides the most advanced pencil beam scanning proton therapy with the capability of intensity modulated proton therapy and onboard cone beam CT imaging system- designed to treat tumors with pinpoint precision. NYPC utilizes the Varian ProBEAM Proton Therapy System containing four treatment rooms (three isocentric gantries and one fixed beam) and one research room. NYPC is also equipped with two Siemens dual-energy CT scanners, Siemens PET/CT scanner, Siemens 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner.
