Radiation Oncology Physicist for Kitsap Peninsula of Washington State
Northwest Medical Physics Center (NMPC) has an immediate opening for a radiation therapy physicist at a clinic we serve in the Kitsap Peninsula region of Washington State. The qualified board-certified or board-eligible candidate will join a second board-certified physicist, 2 physicians, 3 dosimetrists, 5 radiation therapists, 1 nurse and a radiation therapist, working supervisor at a brand-new cancer center that enjoys views of Dyes Inlet and the Olympic mountain range. The successful candidate will work within an all-Varian, ACR-accredited site, having two Truebeams, a GE Discovery RT CT scanner, RGSC, Identify, Velocity and RapidPlan. Current treatment modalities include 3DCRT, IMRT/VMAT and SBRT, with frameless LINAC-based SRS available within the coming year. Recreation
