This is a contracted position and will require federal security clearance. Annual Renewal will be based on satisfactory completion of first year. The potential contract is for 5 years contingent on satisfactory performance. Offers will be based on client securing potential contract. Potential start date May 3rd , 2021 We are looking for a PhD Therapeutic Medical Physicist (TMP) that must be board certified in Medical Physics or Therapeutic Medical Physics. by the American Board of Radiology. Approved Certifying Bodies; The American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Therapeutic Medical Physics, Therapeutic Radiologic or Therapeutic Radiological Physics, Radiologic Physics or Radiological Physics, The American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP) in the subfield of Radiation Oncology Physics, and The Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (CCPM) in the subfield of Radiation Oncology Physics. Requirements: - Must have at least 5 years of documented, post-board experienced after board certification and at least five (5) years of continuous work experience within the last five (5) years to ensure the TMP’s experience is current and relevant.
- Experience with performing QA procedures, Therapeutic Medical Physics in a healthcare system that is ACR certified, Varian Linear Accelerators: IX and Trilogy with Brain Lab Accessories following standards of TG-142, Eclipse treatment planning system; and ARIA record & verify system, including the following treatment modalities: 2D/3D Conformal, SRS, SRT, SBRT, and IMRT/VMAT (following standards of TG-53), MapCheck I/II, Phillips CT Simulator (or equivalent) and following standards of TG-66
