Cochise Oncology is the largest full service cancer treatment center between Albuquerque, NM and Tucson, Arizona. JOB SUMMARY The individual in this position will be responsible for providing a high standard of clinical physics services and supervision, including: Calibration of radiation oncology equipment, perform monthly QA of particle accelerators and CT machine, perform annual scans and other tests on those machines, provide education in radiation safety to staff annually, maintain and refine QA procedures, perform QA for each radiation treatment plan produced, maintain and refine the clinic Quality Management Program, perform an annual review of the Radiation Department, review the policies and procedures manual, collaborate with the Radiation Oncologist and Dosimetrist for Special Physics requests, supervise Therapy Equipment Maintenance, perform acceptance testing, commissioning and QA of any new therapy equipment that comes into the department. |
