Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (SRHS) – Spartanburg, SC is seeking a full-time, team-oriented Medical Physicist to join our practice in providing a full range of clinical medical physics services. SRHS currently has combined staff that consists of 5 radiation oncologists, 4 physicists, 5 medical dosimetrists, and 11 radiation therapists. The successful candidate will join our team of 3 other physicists providing support between our Spartanburg and Pelham clinics. The candidate will have a home base at Spartanburg but will be cross covering between the two sites as needed. Staff at both sites stagger work hours to maintain clinic coverage. The sites provide a wide range of procedures including VMAT, SRS, SBRT, HDR, and SpaceOAR injections. Equipment includes: Spartanburg - 1 Varian Truebeam with Identify Surface guidance, 1 Siemens Oncor, 1 Accuray Tomotherapy unit, 1 Elekta/Nucletron Microselectron HDR with Oncentra TPS, 1 Siemens Somatom CT Simulator. Pelham - 1 Accuray Cyberknife M6 with Precision planning system, 1 Varian Truebeam, and 1 Siemens Somatom Definition AS CT scanner Both sites use Aria and Eclipse for Treatment planning and Radcalc for their second check. QA equipment includes SNC Mapcheck2, SNC ArcCheck, Portal Dosimetry, TomoDose, Standard imaging BeamChecker, Mobius Doselab, scanning tanks (3D, 2D, and 1D) using both PTW and IBA scanning software, and a wide array of chambers, electrometers, and QA phantoms.
