Planning and delivery of brachytherapy, SRS/SRT/SBRT. Supervise and verify that the treatment planning process is carried out per facility policy and calculations, prescribed dose, and monitor units are correct for approved plans. Provide instruction for staff regarding radiation oncology physics relevant to the staff duties. Assist staff and physicians with planning for difficult and/or challenging cases and delivery of treatment. Maintain radiation producing devices and assist engineers with submitting repair/calibration reports as required. Responsible for total quality management inclusive of QA/QC of systems per facility, local, state and federal regulations policy. Perform initial, weekly, and final review of patient charts.
Education and Experience
M.S. in physics with concentration in radiation physics or post graduate degree that provides board eligibility by the American Board of Radiology or is DABR or equivalent DABMP
Board Certified Preferred
