CARTI is currently looking for a board-eligible Therapeutic Medical Physicist for a full-time position with our growing and dynamic team.
The successful candidate will join a clinical team of 5 Therapeutic Medical Physicists, 2 Medical Physics Residents, 9 Medical Dosimetrists, and 10 Radiation Oncologists in the treatment of approximately 150-200 patients per day across our 6 Radiation Oncology locations.
This position will be based in a single linear accelerator facility with accompanying CT and staffed with a site dosimetrist and physician. Remote cross-coverage and cross-checking with the five other centers and physicists allows you the flexibility to extend into multiple areas of Radiation Oncology with the support of operating within a collaborative group setting.
CARTI utilizes state-of-the-art Varian Linacs including Truebeam, 6 Philips Brilliance CT Simulators, all new Sun Nuclear QA physics equipment, Pinnacle and Eclipse TPS (for external beam), Nucletron Oncentra HDR TPS, and MOSAIQ record and verify. Typical treatments utilize 3D conformal planning, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, SBRT, IGRT, SGRT. We offer HDR and LDR brachytherapy. Therapeutic radionuclides in use include Y-90, Lu-177, and Ra-223.
Candidates MUST be ABR Board Eligible.
Willing to work alongside other experienced staff physicists and residents, dosimetrists, and medical professionals as a team for the betterment and well-being of our patients.
Willing to join a team that is expanding its services to new and exciting technologies.
Hands-on experience with the Varian Truebeam platform, Eclipse planning, and Oncentra planning is preferred.
