Medical Physics: Radiation Oncology, Medical Physics: Radiological Physics - General
Parkview Cancer Institute (PCI) in Fort Wayne, Indiana has an immediate opening for a Clinical Medical Physicist to support the Radiation Oncology Department. PCI is a new, state of the art, facility and is now a Certified Member of the MD Anderson Cancer Network.
The selected candidate should have a M.S. or Ph.D. (preferred) degree in medical physics or related physics fields, graduate from a CAMPEP residency program with 3-5 years post residency and be certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP). Preferred clinical experience includes: external beam therapy, brachytherapy, and SRS.
Certified by American Board of Radiology ABR in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or American Board of Medical Physics(ABMP) in Radiation Oncology Physics.
Equipment includes: two Varian TrueBeams with VisionRT, IGRT, and 6DOF couch with ARIA R&V system and Eclipse TPS. The SRS & SBRT program primarily utilizes Accuray CyberKnife M6 with Precision TPS, but has recently added SBRT to the TB platform. The Brachytherapy program consists of an Elekta Nucletron with Oncentra treatment planning system for all GYN cylinders, T&O, Syed, SAVI Breast and Prostate HDR procedures. In 2020, PCI will add an Accuray Radixact (Tomotherapy) with Synchrony. The physics team also covers a remote radiation oncology department with a Varian EX, ARIA R&V, and Eclipse.
