CTSI Oncology Solutions (now a Varian Company) announces an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Senior level Clinical Medical Physicist to immediately join our team.
The job location is in the charming Springfield IL area combining the attractions of small town living with close proximity and excellent transportation links to the bustling metros of St Louis and Chicago. This first-class organization boasts three Varian TrueBeam linacs (2 in the main Springfield center and 1 at a satellite site), Eclipse for treatment planning, Aria for R&V, and conducts robust SBRT/SRS (Brainlab, ExacTrac), HDR (Nucletron) and LDR (VarisSeed) brachytherapy programs.
We are looking for experienced candidates with a profound dedication to clinical excellence, possessing the initiative to lead projects and yet also be team players. As well as enjoying the support of the 3 physicists currently onsite, the successful candidate will also be able to draw upon the extensive resources and in-depth knowledge of other colleagues in the wider CTSI/Varian organization. Unique and exciting opportunities to participate in special projects, such as commissioning and product development, will emerge as we exploit the synergies between clinical physics services and the other divisions of our parent company Varian. • Certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent body
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience (not counting residency)
• Experience with SRS (Brainlab) and HDR (Nucletron) treatment planning highly desirable.
• Strong motivation to collaborate and engage with all members of the team to deliver clinical excellence.
