Medical Radiation Physics, Inc. (MRP), based near Cincinnati, Ohio, has provided medical physics and dosimetry services to clients in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Virginia for over 30 years. MRP also provides equipment commissioning and acceptance testing services throughout the country. The MRP team is comprised of 21 ABR/ABMP Board Certified Physicists, 2 Board Eligible Physicist, 5 Certified Medical Dosimetrists, and a professional support staff. MRP is searching for a Board Certified clinical physicist. A minimum of 5+ years of applied and varied clinical radiation therapy physics experience is preferred. The successful professionals will join our collegial team of physicists and dosimetrists.
The position is in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The position involves clinical radiation physics, including brachytherapy and stereotactic radiosurgery.
Minimum of Masters Degree in Medical Physics or Masters Degree in Physics or related field with Medical Physics training and/or experience is required.
Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Board of Medical Physics in Therapeutic Radiological Physics is strongly preferred; however, consideration will be given to those who have completed part 2 of the ABR certification process.
Candidate must meet qualifications to be an Authorized Medical Physicist for HDR in the state of Ohio.
Experience with MOSAIQ & ARIA R&V systems, Elekta & Varian linear accelerators, GammaMed & Nucletron HDRs, and RayStation, iPlan, Oncentra, & Brachyvision TPSs are preferred. Candidates with a strong knowledge of computer and IT skills are also preferred.
Salary based on experience and generally in accordance with the AAPM Salary Survey.
