Princeton Radiation Oncology is seeking a Senior Clinical Medical Physicist. The responsibilities of the position include daily clinical services, quality assurance, external beam treatment planning and support of special procedures such as HDR brachytherapy and stereotactic treatments. The successful candidate will also provide support in the acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment and new clinical programs.
Facility and Equipment:
This is a unique opportunity to become a vital part of our world class team. Our group of eleven radiation oncologists staff five fully accredited radiation oncology treatment facilities in Central New Jersey and Bucks County Pennsylvania. We provide physics and dosimetry services at these departments of which four are hospital based and one is free standing. We offer the full scope of state-of-the-art radiation oncology services and have an experienced, stable, highly qualified team of 7 physicists and 7 dosimetrists.
MS or Ph.D. in physics, radiological physics, medical physics or a related specialty.
Certification by the American Board of Radiology, or the American Board of Medical Physics.
Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience.
Experience with HDR and Radiosurgery preferred.
