MEDICAL PHYSICIST OPPORTUNITY DIABLO VALLEY ONCOLOGY

Diablo Valley Oncology (DVO) has an exceptional opportunity for a clinical radiation therapy physicist to join one of the most established Northern California oncology groups. Located in the East San Francisco Bay Area, DVO provides outpatient radiotherapy services across two facilities within the East Bay. The Pleasant Hill location has two Elekta Synergy linear accelerators, a Siemens CT simulator, and a Xoft electronic brachytherapy system, treating approximately 30 external beam patients per day. There is also an active SBRT program. Treatment planning is performed using RayStation, and Mosaiq is used as the oncology information system. This practice is led by a group of four advanced and supportive radiation oncologists, dedicated to excellence in clinical care and operations.
Minimum qualifications include an MS degree in Medical Physics or related discipline, completion of a CAMPEP approved medical physics residency, and eligibility or certification in therapeutic medical physics from the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics.
