Health and Medicine: Radiation, Medical Physics: Health Physics/Radiation Safety, Medical Physics: Radiation Oncology
The Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, a dynamic partnership between Massachusetts General Hospital, a world-renowned academic medical center, and Cooley Dickinson Hospital, a thriving community healthcare system in Northampton, Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced Medical Physicist. The individual in this position will provide oversight and quality assurance related to the Cancer Center's radiation safety, quality control, treatment planning, and medical physics programs, including ongoing prevention of radiation safety problems to ensure the continued protection and safeguarding of patients, employees, and visitors.
This position requires a Master’s degree in medical physics, completion of a CAMPEP-approved residency, ABR certification/eligibility, and at least two to five years relevant experience in the field of radiation therapy. Strong experience in treatment planning and planning systems, including RayStation, and experience with VisionRT, Varian LINACs (including OBI), and SBRT delivery preferred.
