CNHS is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physicist. Candidates should be American Board Certified or Board eligible in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiologic Physics with minimum 2 years of clinical experience or have completed a residency
The position includes the development and oversight of hospital based imaging department Quality Assurance programs including the evaluation and radiation dose and image quality optimization of all imaging modalities. Knowledge, skills, and experience in diagnostic imaging instrumentation, including: radiography (CR and DR), fluoroscopy (general, interventional, cardiac), ultrasound, nuclear medicine (including PET), CT, and MRI are required. Additional clinical responsibilities include oversite over: MR and radiation safety, equipment purchases and clinical IRB approval. Experience testing and maintenance of the radiation dose tracking program, diagnostic imaging workstations, and radioactive material license applications and amendments are required. Candidate with MATLAB, or equivalent (e.g., Python, R, etc.), programming experience will be preferred as will the candidate with a track record in research. The qualified candidate should have experience regarding ACR certification of CT, MRI, Ultrasound, PET, and nuclear medicine.
