We are looking for a Product Manager to collaboratively lead product development teams. This is a highly collaborative role that works cross-functionally within our organization to drive assigned products from strategy to finished product and then serves as a technical expert. Our ideal candidate has strong project management skills and experience in the medical device industry, or even better in the Radiation Therapy industry.
Assist with product development requirements for Patient Dosimetry products including voice-of-customer feedback, product development documentation (such as business plans, feature requirements and use scenarios), competitive product assessment and response prioritization, and obsolescence plans and execution. Product coverage subject to change based on business requirements.
Define and develop appropriate marketing collateral to support Sales communication strategy and core messaging for assigned products, including product benefits, attributes, value proposition, product positioning, and competitive assessment and comparisons.
Provide feedback into strategic product planning, marketing, and continuous product improvement efforts.
Lead and facilitate customer collaborations with respect to research and support multi-departmental team effort to produce research publications and internal white papers to document and support assigned product claims
Lead efforts to identify appropriate beta test/validation sites for all applicable product releases and provide support to R&D for any customer follow up required to ensure timely feedback.
Attend conferences, trade shows, scientific talks, and training events as scheduled by Manager
Clinical Sales Support
Define, recruit speakers or deliver at least 1 product webinar per month, focusing on selection of material or orchestrating talk by existing users to generate interest in assigned product solutions by prospective customers
Coordinate appropriate SI reference sites for assigned products to maximize opportunities related to the collaboration and to ensure that reference site is fully functional and satisfied with SI products.
Provide requested clinical support to Sales team for assigned products via remote webinars and on-site pre-sales technical demonstrations to customers following proper approval procedures
Other duties may be assigned
BS in a technical discipline;
Advanced degree (Medical Physics / Medical Dosimetry) highly preferred.
PMP Certification preferred
Ability to work on multiple, concurrent problems projects
Ability to develop and deliver clear, crisp communications (written and verbal) that are customized to the needs of different audiences, ensuring timely and relevant communication.
Ability to see the big picture and able to synthesize, analyze, and draw insights from data inform the best path forward.
Functions independently with little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
Radiation Therapy industry experience and knowledge of medical device and regulatory standards highly preferred.
Some travel, domestic or international, may be required.
Familiarity with ISO and FDA regulations and standards a plus
This is a full-time position, working out of our Middleton, WI office.
