Medical Physics: Health Physics/Radiation Safety, Medical Physics: Industry, Medical Physics: Radiation Oncology
Prisma Health is seeking a board-certified physicist to join a centralized team of six clinical physicists in Greenville, SC providing support to seven radiation oncologists and five dosimetrists across four sites surrounding Greenville. The successful candidate joins a group collectively responsible for the QA five new linear accelerators (4 Truebeams with OSMS and Calypso), HDR brachytherapy, and LDR brachytherapy sources. We support a progressive radiation oncology practice with active SRS, SBRT (lung and prostate), IMRT, HDR (GYN), and LDR eye plaque programs. The physicist will be responsible for treatment planning QA, machine QA, chart checks, GYN HDR planning, SRS planning, LDR eye plaque administration, IMRT and SRS/SBRT QA. This is an all-Varian site for treatment planning, EMR, and delivery platforms; Brainlab SRS planning and Exactrac; and mostly Sun Nuclear QA equipment.
