The Erlanger Health System Medical Physics Residency Program in partnership with Provision Proton Therapy Center in Knoxville, TN will provide residents with two years of clinical training through clinical rotations conducted at both the Erlanger and Provision campuses. We are inviting CAMPEP residency eligible physicists to apply for this very attractive position that we would like to fill as soon as possible.
The Erlanger/Provision partnership provides a uniquely comprehensive Residency Program in Medical Physics. The Medical Physics residency program will offer training across 3 Varian linacs, 1 Eleckta linac, 1 CyberKnife, CT and conventional simulators, as well as HDR, LDR, and proton therapy. This combination of radiation modalities and treatment cases will provide Medical Physics residents with comprehensive training in radiation therapy. The training staff is committed to preparing Medical Physics Residents for the ABR board exam. The training staff includes seven ABR certified medical physicists, along with support from physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, administration and other clinical staff.
