Hope Regional Cancer Center, the only American College of Radiology (ACR) accredited facility in the area, is seeking a Masters level Medical/Radiation physicist; Candidate can be locum or locum to permanent or permanent to work in a private practice in Panama City. Panama City is located on beautiful quartz crystal white sand beaches and emerald green waters in Florida.
Our office uses the latest state of the art Varian Linac iX with OBI and portal dosimetry, Eclipse planning system, ARIA R&V. Modalities include 3D, IMRT, VMAT. Next year planning for SBRT and SRS. The office is also equipped with a 16 slice GE PETCT Scanner, QA equipment, EMR, two Radiation Oncologists and a highly professional staff.
We offer competitive salary and benefits. Responsible for routine physics duties, QA, calibration, treatment planning, ACR compliance, and special projects. Board certification (or eligibility for board certification) is preferred but not required. A junior medical physicist will be under a Board-Certified physicist for supervision and training. Minimum of one to three (1-3) years experience. Must be a team player.
