



Associates in Radiation Medicine is seeking a highly motivated full time medical physicist to join our ACR-accredited radiation oncology team. The physicist will provide medical physics services at the main campus in Salisbury, MD, as well as a new facility in Ocean Pines, MD which opened in September of 2017. We have a strong philosophy that both facilities will provide outstanding treatment quality that is consistent across the facilities as well as contributing to the overall mission of the center to advance the state of cancer care. We focus on external beam treatment including 3DCRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS/SRT. We also have an active HDR program. The ideal candidate must have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff in a dynamic working environment. The physicist will be joining a team of two dosimetrists and a senior physicists. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in physics or applied physics from an approved institution (Other physical science or engineering degrees may be considered if the appropriate fundamental physics courses have been completed) and well versed and able to communicate with the staff in the English language. The candidate must also meet the requirements for state licensure as a qualified medical physicist, be board certified or board eligible by either American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Board of Medical Physicists (ABMP). Salisbury and Ocean Pines, MD are located on the Delmarva Peninsula with beautiful beaches and just a short drive to Assateague National Park. Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. are also within a two-hour drive. You will also find affordable housing and excellent school systems.
