Cape Cod Healthcare is searching for a clinically oriented, board certified medical physicist for our satellite cancer center on the grounds of Falmouth Hospital. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of four radiation oncologists, two physicists, and four dosimetrists. Most of the time he/she will function independently at the Clark Cancer Center location in Falmouth along with one dosimetrist, one radiation oncologist and support staff. This center is equipped with GE Lightspeed RT16 CT scanner with RPM, Varian iX linear accelerator with VisionRT, superficial unit, Eclipse TPS, Aria EMR, MIM, Velocity and Variseed softwares. The ideal candidate has experience with Varian equipment and software, OBI, IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT and prostate seed-implants. The main campus, where the other staff is located, is 20 miles away in Hyannis, on the grounds of Cape Cod Hospital. Equipment on the main campus include: GE Lightspeed RT16 CT scanner with VisionRT, superficial unit, 2 Varian TrueBeam accelerators equipped with VisionRT, VariSource HDR unit, Eclipse TPS, Aria EMR, MIM, Velocity and Variseed software for prostate seed-implants, Brachyvision software for HDRs. The qualified applicant must have a committed desire to collaborate and communicate with other members of the team to deliver clinical excellence for the Cape Cod Healthcare community. Falmouth is located on beautiful Cape Cod. Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket islands are just a short boat ride away. Boston and Providence are about an hour drive.
