Seeking a clinical Radiation Oncology Physicist to be part of a consultant group in Southern You will work for a physics group which has 17 facilities. Position is to work at one or two facilities where you will work independently but have close support from the very well experienced staff in the group. We have mostly Varian equipment. We would like physicist to have extensive knowledge of treatment planning as well as QA. All levels of experience will be considered and will train the right candidate if necessary . Looking for a hard worker with an enthusiastic personality.
Position requires a Board or Board eligible Ph.D. or M.S. physicist. Must be experienced in Eclipse and Aria. Preferred experience in SRS planning, SBRT planning, all aspects of QA for the Linac and CT scanner. Preferred experience with VMAT, RadCalc, and dosimetry systems. HDR experience is a plus. The physics group will give as much support and coverage as needed. Vacations and sick leave will be covered. Some Varian school may be provided as pertains to several new accelerators. Our group has isodose scanners, electrometers, ion chambers, and two transportable HDR units. Preferred to have leadership qualities and be familiar with QA Policy and Procedures. This is an opportunity to be exposed and learn new systems and technology.
