The Department of Physics offers graduate students the Professional Science Master in Medical Physics (PSMMP) program. The Instructor of Medical Physics will have the following responsibilities.
Main assignment: courses in medical physics; Alternative assignment: physics courses as needed by the department.
No explicit requirement to conduct research, although research activity would be an asset.
Service to the department as needed.
Clinical Practice Responsibilities
Percentage of time to be assigned for clinical practice, type and location of clinical practice, etc.
Direct students research at the FAU partners in education Hospitals/clinics.
Other duties may be assigned by the Chair and/or Assistant Chair.
Ph.D. from an accredited institution in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field required at time of application.
