The Hope Center at TriStar Health is seeking a Clinical Therapy Medical Physicist to work Full-time at our Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, Georgia. You get to be a part of a new relaunch stereotactic radiosurgery, prostate HDR, and other advanced RT modalities. This is an exciting opportunity with a full support of a larger TriStar HCA physics team!

A medical physicist is an individual who is competent to practice independently in radiation oncology physics and ensures the safe and accurate delivery of radiation dose to cancer patients.
The Medical Physicist functions as an integral member of the radiation oncology team.
A medical physicist is primarily and professionally engaged in the design optimization, technical evaluation, and precise and accurate delivery of treatment plans.
He/she is responsible for the design and implementation of the aspects of the quality management program that involve the use of radiotherapy equipment and therapeutic radioisotopes.
A medical physicist is also responsible for the radiation protection of patients and staff members.
