Medical Physics: Radiation Oncology, Medical Physics: Radiation Oncology Dosimetry, Medical Physics: Radiological Physics - General
Sanford Health is seeking a full-time medical physicist to join two other board-certified radiation therapy physicists at its Sioux Falls location. This well-equipped clinic offers external beam and HDR brachytherapy treatments utilizing Varian TrueBeam, TomoTherapy, and Siemens linear accelerators, a Varian HDR remote afterloader (transitioning from Nucletron in June 2018), Aria, Velocity, OSMS, GE CT, and ample QA equipment from multiple vendors. Sanford Health participates in numerous clinical trials and regularly performs SRS, SBRT, and DIBH treatments.
Previous experience is preferred, however, those who have recently completed a residency will also be considered. Must be board certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Medical Physics in radiation therapy physics within 5 years of hire. Must maintain board certification through the duration of employment. Masters or PhD degree in physics, biophysics, medical physics or radiological physics or Doctorate of Medical Physics (DMP).
