JOB SUMMARY: The Physicist oversees the radiation therapy equipment and acceptance. The Physicist consults with the Radiation Oncologist and Sr. Physicist concerning patient dose, along with radiation exposure and safety. The Physicist oversees the radiation quality assurance programs and development.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Graduate degree in medical physics required.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
Board eligibility for ABR preferred.
Certification as a Qualified Medical Physicist by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) within 7 years of employment preferred.
Monday-Friday w/ occasional weekends; 80hrs/2wks
