The successful applicant will support clinical and compliance operations within imaging departments by performing surveys in all modalities, audit compliance activities and records, provide in-service and educational training and consultation, participate in Radiation Safety and Radiation Protocol Committee meetings, perform shielding designs, review and assist in establishing quality control programs, etc.
Board certification is desired. However, we would consider an individual who could not yet perform ACR and Joint Commission Testing independently in all modalities. Strong communication skills, proactive work ethic, and a desire to work as part of a team are essential qualities.
Travel is required for this position; however, only approximately 1 to 3 overnight stays per month. Occasional flying is involved. Most travel is limited to the state of Texas.
