Medical Physics: Diagnostic Imaging, Medical Physics: Health Physics/Radiation Safety, Medical Physics: Nuclear Medicine
Normal duties include physics quality assurance surveys of radiation producing devices located in client medical facilities, classroom lecturing/in-service training as well as quarterly reviews of Nuclear Medicine Quality Assurance documents and participation in Radiation Safety Committee meetings. Equipment surveys include ACR and Joint Commission Testing of Nuclear Medicine cameras, MR units, CT Scanners and Mammography units. We would consider an individual who could not perform ACR and Joint Commission Testing independately in all modalities.
We would consider hiring a part-time individual for this position.
Travel is required for this position, however, only approximately 1 overnight per week. No flying is involved; we drive to our client locations. Most travel is limited to the southwest Virginia area.
